TracStar's iMVS920H Antenna System The iMVS Series from TracStar is built to track a single satellite while mounted on a stationary or moving vehicle travelling over improved or unimproved road conditions. Users now have the freedom and flexibility to move quickly Anywhere/Anytime on the road using a communications terminal that is very responsive and Internet/Intranet compatible. The iMVS Series terminals are used for: • Off-Road Vehicle Tracking • Federal, State and Public Safety agencies for law enforcement, emergency response and home-land security communications • Enterprise Organizations • Trains, limos, RV’s and SUV’s • News Gathering and Multi-Media production crews www.cobham.com/tracstar TracStar iMVS920H Vehicle Mount In-Motion Antenna System Data Specification The most important thing we build is trust Features • Special Test Equipment for alignment not required • Computers or peripheral equipment to operate the antenna not required • External Inertial Navigation Unit (INU) not required • Phone calls to network operators or service providers not required Comm On-The-Move Applications • Secure digital communications greater than 10 Mbps (network and modem dependent) • High-speed Internet access • VoIP communications • Teleconferencing • Wide area private network extension • Video broadcasting Standard Configuration Every antenna comes equipped with the following: • Tracking antenna, BUC and LNB • Built-in Attitude, Heading and Rate Sensors • Power Interface Unit and Interface Cables • Adjacent Satellite Transmit Mute Protection • Electromechanically steered AZ, EL, & POL Axii • One-button, auto-acquiring Antenna Control Unit (ACU) with integrated GPS/Compass/Level Sensors and user configurable satellite selection. The TracStar Live Remote Interface (TracLRI) allows the user to easily remotely control and monitor satellite auto-acquisition operations and other important antenna system parameters.
The LRI includes the following functionality:
• TracPSD: Automated Mitigation of Satellite Interference due to excessive power spectral density
• Ethernet-based (wired or wireless) access to the antenna controller
• Advanced modification of parameters including satellite setup, scan and mode settings and modem setup
• Custom profiles for major satellite modems and satellite networks
• Pre-stored parameters allow end users simple One-Button “Run/Deploy” and “Stop/Stow” for multiple satellites and networks
• Built-in display of antenna acquisition parameters, alert status, signal-to-noise ratio, signal strength, azimuth, elevation and polarization
• Local & Remote System Diagnostics
• Available on new products and provides for upgrade to fielded antennas and controllers
