The violin is a bowed string instrument with four strings. It is the smallest and acute family of classical string instruments, which includes the viola, cello and bass, which, except for the bass, are all derived from the medieval violas, especially the fiddle.

In ancient violins the strings were gut. Today they can also be metal or gut wound with aluminum, silver or steel; rope on me, the more acute is directly a steel wire, and occasionally gold. Currently being manufactured strings synthetic materials tend to gather sound achieved by the flexibility of the gut and the resistance of metals.

The violin consists mainly of a soundboard that features elegant and beautiful ergonomic shapes (oval section with two constrictions near the center). Such resonance box is constituted by two tables: the soundboard and bottom board (traditionally made with maple), the side or rings cover and the upper table or soundboard (traditionally wood or white spruce); the lid is pierced symmetrically and almost in the center of two openings resonance called "ears" or "esses" since the time of its design long S is still used in writing or printing, like a "efe "italics but without the horizontal bar, and unused since the eighteenth century. For the same reason, now tend to call "Fs".

• Skateboarding was first started in the 1950s, when all across California surfers got the idea of trying to surf the streets.• These first skateboarders started with wooden boxes or boards with

roller skate wheels slapped on the bottom. Like you might imagine, a lot of people got hurt in skateboarding's early years! It was a sport just being born and discovered, so anything went. The boxes turned into planks, and eventually companies were producing decks of pressed layers of wood

Ukulele• The ukulele originated in the

19th century as a Hawaiian interpretation of the machete, a small guitar-like instrument related to the cavaquinho, timple, braguinha and the rajão, taken to Hawaii by Portuguese immigrants, many from the Macaronesian Islands. It gained great popularity elsewhere in the United States during the early 20th century, and from there spread internationally.

• The tone and volume of the instrument varies with size and construction. Ukuleles commonly come in four sizes: soprano, concert, tenor, and baritone.

Tuning• The most popular tuning found

on the internet for the standard or soprano ukulele is C6-tuning: G4 C4 E4 A4. The G string is tuned an octave higher than might be expected. This is known as reentrant tuning. Some players prefer "Low G" tuning, with the G in sequence an octave lower. The baritone is usually tuned to D3 G3 B3 E4, which is the same as the highest four strings of the standard 6-string guitar.

The vast majority of magicians around the world are micro magicians.[citation needed]Micro magic can combine sleight-of-hand manipulations with flourishes.Sleight-of-hand, also known as prestidigitation ("quick fingers"), is the set of techniques used by a micro magician to manipulate objects such as cards and coins secretly.Flourishes are an example of skill rather than of illusion or deceit. It is the equivalent of juggling to a juggler. The two principal forms of micro magic are card tricks and coin tricks but any small item can be used for sleight-of-hand performances including dice, bottle caps, sugar cubes, sponge balls, pebbles, pens and cups and balls.[4] It's not uncommon for micro magicians to combine several of these objects in a single trick.

magic

Sleight of hand is not a separate branch of magic, but rather one of the means used by a magician to produce an effect. It can be contrasted with the flourish, where the magician intentionally displays skills, such as the ability to cut cards one-handed, which is akin to juggling. Advanced sleight of hand requires months or years of practice before it can be performed proficiently in front of spectators. Sleight of hand is mostly employed in close-up magic, but it can also be used in stage magic. There are hundreds of different sleights at the performer's disposal, but they can generally be classified into groups such as switches, changes, and others. 14
