Section 2 Objectives and Purposes

1. Course Aims

At the end of this course, the student will be able to perform in the following areas of

performance:

1.1 To provide a knowledge and understanding of international trade law

1.2 To introduce and expand upon international law to place them in a real world

situation facilitating practical insights

1.3 To develop an appreciation of the importance of international trade law to the

business in shaping the contemporary world

1.4 To improve the skills to use legal theory to interpret to the real situation

2. Objectives for Developing / Revising Course (content / learning process /

assessment / etc.)

According to TQF 5 (Thailand Quality Framework 5: HEd.) for the 2015 academic year,

students should develop their abilities as follow:

(1) The need to increase analysis ability;

(2) The need to encourage team work;

(3) The need to revise assessment technique and focus more on cooperative learning

practice.

Therefore, the purpose for developing course content is that students need to increase

their analysis abilities as well as the change of learning technique to be more on cooperative

learning. Thus, learning process will be revise in more practical ways, such as assigning

cooperative activities for team work development.

The right and obligations of the exporter and importer in an international sales

transactions and difficulties of international trade essential elements of such transactions,

international commerce, international banking, and the nature and function of insurance in

international commerce.

Section 7 Course Evaluation and Revising

1. Strategies for Course Evaluation by Students

Using survey questions to collect information from the students’ opinions to improve the

course and enhance the curriculum. Examples of questions:

(1) Content objectives were made clear to the students.

(2) The content was organized around the objectives.

(3) Content was sufficiently integrated.

(4) Content was sufficiently integrated to the rest of the first year curriculum.

(5) The instructional materials used were effectively.

(6) The learning methods appropriate assessed the students’ understanding of the

content.

(7) Overall, students are satisfied with the quality of this course.

2. Strategies for Course Evaluation by Lecturer

2.1 Lecturer team observes the class and discusses the results as follow:
