WP3 – BSR as a transport gateway area
• Task 3.1 transformed to an ongoing activity (inventory report to be regularly updated)
• Swap between tasks 3.2 3.3 (coordination need with the Baltic Transport Outlook)
• Foresight debates in task 3.3 launched already in period 1, with altogether 5 events planned till end of May 2010 (incl. one in Russia); preliminary scenarios developed and presented at the debates
• Specification of possible case studies in task 3.4 to be compiled based on task 3.1 report and outcomes of the foresight debates, and to be presented at the WP3 meeting in September 2010

• First debate (Sopot, Poland, 11 May 2010) dedicated to barriers and challenges in introducing the MoS concept in the Baltic Sea
• Among ca. 40 participants – representatives of ports, transport operators and administration
• Debate report with conclusions to serve WP3 process
• Next debate possibly in late 2010 or early 2011

• Umbrella activities in the task – discussion with EWTC II and Scandria on division of labour in investigating green issues in particular corridors
• Further cooperation with the Swedish Ministry envisaged

Task 5.1 – Dry port development

• Detailed action plan serving as a guidance to those case studies and allowing for benchmarking
• Status report and draft implementation plans ready in PP3

Task 5.3 – Deployment of ICT toolbox
• Seminar with participation of the freight market stakeholders scheduled for 10 June 2010
• First part dedicated to use demonstration of the ICT tool for planning intermodal supply chains (based on actual market data gathered from freight transport operators active in Hamburg – Poland transport corridor)
• Second part focusing on intensification of rail transports from Poland to Scandinavia as ILIM’s input to Task 5.5

Task 5.4 – Competence Management System in harbour
logistics

• Adjustment work for CMS software to match future requirements (e.g. utilisation by EMA)
• Kick-off meeting in Hamburg planned in PP 2
