13. SANITATION AND CLEANING OF THE ENTIRE MELA AREA. DAILY SALES COLLECTIONS OF
THE CRAFTSPERSONS. DISTRIBUTION OF SUGGESTION FORMS AND ITS COLLECTIONS AND SUBMISSION IN THE MELA SECRETARIAT:
1. To ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of the entire Mela area through the agency hired for it.
2. Removal of unauthorized vendors from the Mela Area.
3. Having proper Liaison with the MCF authorities for deploying Fire tendors, and Sprinkling of water in and around the Mela area.
4. Liaison with the Sanitation agency and planning the development of the sanitation staff in various sectors. He will ensure that sufficient number of dustbins with disposable sheets is placed in the various sectors and lifting of garbage is done in time. The spray of BHC at the collection points will be ensured which is the responsibility of the service provider

5. Physical checking of the staff provided by the agency and maintaining record about their attendance, it will be ensured that effective cleanliness is done during the day and evening in all the sectors.
6. Verification of the bills of the Sanitation agency for payments as per attendance.

19. OVERALL ENGINEERING WORKS (INCLUDING THE HIRING OF THE LIGHT &
ILLUMINATION SYSTEMS, HIRING OF DG SETS, HIRING OF TRACTOR/TROLLEY, WATER TANKERS FOR SPRINKLING, HIRING OF ROAD ROLLERS/JCB’S, FIRE SAFETY EQUITMENT/FIRE EXTINGUISHERS):
Details of the duties cannot be worked out precisely still the broader view of the duties will be as under :- 1. Ensuring timely completion of the
civil/public health/electrical and horticulture works and repairs of various gates.
2. Ensuring proper installation of light and illumination fittings in the entire Mela area, Hermitage Huts, Natyashala, parking and the gates according to the design provided by Architect-II through the contractor as per the Tender Document.
3. Coordination with the XEN (Operators), DHBVN for proper electricity supply.
4. Ensuring proper functioning of water supply and drainage in the Mela HTC in co-ordination MCF authorities.
5. Ensuring proper coordination with HUDA/MCF for installation of lights along the road side.
6. Ensuring proper working of the electrical installations in Hotel Rajhans, Sunbird Motel, Hermitage Huts and Lake View Huts, Badkhal Lake Aravali Golf Course & Magpie.
7. Ensuring proper functioning of the intercoms.
8. Ensuring adequate power supply on the day of fashion show
9. Ensure maintenance of Horticulture/ Floriculture at the designated sites in the Mela Area.
10. Sprinkling of waters in the evening in the Mela Premises.
11. Placing the flags and poles after procuring it from MCF and HUDA authorities and the Incharges of Sunbird Motel, Hermitage Huts,

and erected at the designated places in consultation with Sh. Dhararmvir, Architect-II.
13. Verification of the log book for the D.G. sets. 14. Ensuring the placement of fire extinguisher
at the designated sites. 15. A committee consisting of Sh. Jagdish
Chander, SDE (Mech.) and Sh. G.K. Sharma ,SDE (Elect) will coordinate with Jhulla inspection committee constituted by the DC, Faridabad. They will ensure visit of the committee on day to day basis and submit its report to the Mela Secretariat every day.
20. COMPETITION FOR SCHOOLS/COLLEGES STUDENTS:

6. To provide light refreshments to the students & teacher coming for participation in competition.
21. AMBIENCE CREATION, DECORATION, FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS AND PREPARATION OF NAME PLATES OF CRAFTSPERSONS, FABRIC BUNTINGS, PREPARATION AND INSTALLATION OF HOARDINGS IN AND OUTSIDE MELA GROUNDS:
1. Decoration of the Shekhawati Gate, Chaupal and Natyashala, as per the design approved by the authority.
2. Decoration of lobby and lawns of Hotel Rajhans, Surajkund & marketing stall.
3. Decoration and flower arrangements alongside the roads from Hotel Rajhans, Surajkund to Bastaar Gate.
4. All other decoration required from time to time.
5. Procuring demand of Bouquet, rose buds etc from protocol and Hotel Raj Hans.
6. Procurement of flowers after getting them properly weighed through a committee consisting of Sh. Dharma Vir, Arch.-II & Sh. Subhash Wadhawan.
7. Getting the Rangoli prepared.

9. Display of publicity hoardings and banners alongside the road.

5. To monitor working of various entry tickets booths.
6. Compiling the sale figures of craftsperson as received from the concerned person.
7. Compiling of visitor data from various entry gates.
8. At the end of the Mela , to verify the bills submitted by the Service Provider w.r.t. the rates and the quantity as mentioned in the Supply Order issued before the Mela and to send the same to the Accounts Department for payment. Deductions, if any, be seen properly. The EMD submitted by various Service Providers have been converted into security and the same would be refunded only on the receipt of the satisfactory work by the Activity Incharge of HTC.
28. ENFORCING THE TICKET CHECKING’S AT ALL ENTRY GATES AND SALE OF MELA TICKETS AND MONITORING OF SALE OF TICKETS AT VARIOUS GATES:

The Incharges of the gates will ensure proper & smooth sale of entry tickets, to regulate the smooth entry of visitors to their respective gate, to make a record of visitors (i.e foreigners and domestic separately) on the respective gates and pass on the figures to the Mela Accounts Office daily and on Saturday, Sundays and other holidays more staff, if required shall be provided by the Mela Office.
