Questions were reverberating on Tuesday about the appearance of An- gus T. Jones, the 19-year-old half man of the TV show’s title, in a video in which he described the long-running CBS sitcom as “filth.” “If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop,” Jones said in a 14-minute video clip posted on YouTube on an apocalyptic religious channel called Forerunner Chronicles. “I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth.” Jones’s mother, Casey, has said that she fears her son is being “exploited” by the church. Accompanying the young actor in the video is his evident religious mentor, Christopher Hudson, a Seventh-day Adventist pastor and conspiracy theo- rist who refers to himself as “The Fore- runner.” Hudson’s stated beliefs char- acterize the re-election of Barack Oba- ma as a sign of the End of Days, rapper Jay-Z as a Satan-worshipping Freema- son and cannibalism as an inevitable outcome of New York’s post-hurricane gas-rationing. In a statement released Tuesday afternoon, Hudson said Jones was “cool and calm” and “doing very well.” “I’m impressed that this young man has the ability to deal with this situa- tion in a responsible way,” Hudson said. “This young man is a noble young man.
