contracted to manage both the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games, in which athletes with physical disabilities compete against one another.

Pan Am Games Sports

The Pan Am Games program consists of 36 sports such as athletics, swimming, fencing, diving, baseball, boxing, bowling, basketball, equestrian, football, artistic gymnastics, rowing, table tennis, taekwondo, trampoline, volleyball, wrestling, tennis, weightlifting, water polo and so on.

About PACHI

Pachi is a young porcupine who loves to explore new places and meet new friends. Pachi, like other porcupines, has a visual impairment and difficulty seeing people and objects that are far away.Pachi has 41 brightly coloured quills – one for each of the Pan Am countries participating in the games. His quills are five brilliant colours and represent qualities that he holds- green is youth, fuchsia is passion, blue is collaboration, orange is determination and purple is creativity.
