Course Outline

• Class runs every Monday, 09.00-11.00 and on every third Wednesday there will be an experimental demonstration, from October 2nd – for Nano MSc students

• Class runs every Monday, 09.00-11.00 from October 2nd – for Chem Eng PhD students

• There will a research visit to – CMN (Instituto de Microelectrónica de Barcelona) – ICMAB (Institut de Ciència de Materials de

Barcelona)» (date to be decided)

• The marks for the course will be based on• continuous assessment (60%)

• reports • presentations

• Final exam (20%)• Attendance (5%)

• Must pass all segments of course for overall pass mark

• The final exam consists of a multiple choice written exam and an oral presenatation

• These exams will take place at the end of the first semester

• The language of these exams will be English
