ESSAY PRACTICE and SOURCES ANALYSIS: • Your assignment will be to write a letter to a friend describing what life

in the trenches was like. Use pages 26 – 27 (Sources A - H) and Sources 11 - 19 that we reviewed, to get some ideas. This assignment is worth 12 marks.

• Be CREATIVE with your analysis and QTS. Put the info from the Sources into an accurate and descriptive summary of life in the trenches.

• Review Objective #10 and emphasise the ‘horrible and dangerous’ conditions.
