There are many different brands of Pressure Washers available, some of which have cheap, unknown pump units fitted. It’s important that you know what type of pump is fitted as this can be one of the most expensive parts of the machine to replace if things go wrong. The general rule is if the supplier doesn’t know the make or model of pump, can you be confident the Pressure Washer is a quality product? Taskman Pressure Washers are fitted with world-renowned quality pumps from Interpump. These feature brass head pumps complete with ceramic pistons and have a proven reputation for durability.

Generally gearbox driven pumps are built for lengthy or daily use and are designed for longevity and the preferred choice for commercial and industrial applications. Direct drive pumps are quicker, high-speed models which are more suited to light commercial and domestic use.

will pressure washer attachments stand up to heavy use?

If you use your Pressure Washer on a daily basis, it will cause strain on other components of the machine such as the lance, trigger and hose. Although easily replaceable, they can cause unnecessary downtime and it is best to avoid buying cheap, unreliable attachments. This brass filter fits on to the end of the suction hose. The filter and hose can then be dropped into a water butt or I.B.C and the pump will then create the pressure and pull the water through. The filter is designed to stop dirt and rubbish entering the pump.

This nipple fits to the front of the unloader valve. It is fitted to the unloader valve in order to fit the high pressure hose to the pump. The nipple is a 22mm x 3/8’s female fitting.
