How to manually Isolate Product PhotosOnto White ...
Introducing to you with a GraphicDesigning start ...
Before we can begin, you have to do a little bit of setting up. One factor that I prefer thisset up is because it only takes a couple of minutes to get ready. I've used more sophisticatedset ups in past, and while you can precisely set them up to give you more control over thefinal product, lights, softboxes, and backgrounds can cost quite a bit of money.
By using just a DSLR with a macro lens, a tripod, a flash, and a sheet of paper, I can achievea pretty good result without having to spend too much time and money on it. It's true thatsometimes it's quite impossible to manage a white background but don't worried, applyingphotoshop clipping path it's possible to cut out your products or photos.
Set up your scene in a way similar to the images below. Make sure to aim your flash directlyat the products. That will soften the light just a bit and reduce the harsh shadows.
Now that you have imported your photos into your computer, take the photo that you thinkis best. Your image should look similar to the one above. You may notice that while thebackground of that photo looks not ok, it looks a bit dirty and is not quite the pure whitebackground. To fix this we will need to edit using Photoshop.
To show you exactly how dirty the background of your image actually is, I've expanded thecanvas of the image in Photoshop. Now you can see exactly how much whiter thebackground needs to be.
Open your product's photo with Photoshop CS 6 or what version are you using already.

A clipping path is a closed vector path, or shape, used to cut out a 2Dimage in image editing software. Anything inside the path will be included after theclipping path is applied; anything outside the path will be omitted from the output.Applying the clipping path results in a hard (aliased) or soft (antialiased) edge, depending on the image editor's capabilities
By convention, the inside of the path is defined by its direction. Reversing the directionof a path reverses what is considered inside or outside. An inclusive path is one wherewhat is visually "inside" the path corresponds to what will be preserved; an exclusivepath, of opposite direction, contains what is visually "outside" the path. By convention,a clockwise path that is nonselfintersecting is considered inclusive.
A compound path results from the combination of multiple paths (inclusive andexclusive) and the Boolean operations that ultimately determine what the combinedpath contains. For instance, an inclusive path which contains a smaller exclusive pathresults in a shape with a "hole" (defined by the exclusive path).
One common use of a clipping path is to cull objects that do not need to be renderedbecause they are outside the user's viewport or obscured by display elements (suchas aHUD).
Clipping paths crop part of the artwork so that only a portion of theartwork appears through the shape or shapes you create. You cancreate clipping paths to hide unwanted parts of an image, creatingboth a path for the image and a frame for the graphic. By keeping theclipping path and graphics frame separate, you can freely modify theclipping path without affecting the graphics frame by using the DirectSelection tool and other drawing tools in the toolbox.
You can create clipping paths in the following ways:
Place alreadysaved graphics with paths or alpha(mask) channels, which InDesign can useautomatically. You can add paths and alphachannels to graphics using a program such asAdobe Photoshop.
Use the Detect Edges option in the Clipping Pathcommand to generate a clipping path for a graphicthat was saved without one.
Use the Pen tool to draw a path in the shape youwant, and then use the Paste Into command topaste the graphic into the path.
When you use one of InDesign’s automatic methods to generate aclipping path, the clipping path is attached to the image, resulting in animage that is clipped by the path and cropped by the frame.
The graphics frame displays the color of the layer it appearson, and the clipping path is drawn in the inverse color of the layer. For example, if the layer color is blue, the graphics frame will appearas blue, and the clipping path will appear as orange.
In general, clipping path is an outline created using the pen tool in an image editing
software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator orInDesign. It is also called a closed vector path, orshape. The main use of a clipping path is to cut out an image from their background, but it can alsobe used in several different ways such as giving a special shape to an object, editing a particularportion within an image or preparing a layout design. After the clipping path is applied to an imageeverything inside the path is included in the final cut and everything outside the path isdiscarded. Clipping paths are the best option for the kind of image that has a sharp, defined edge.
