PROMOTIONS -- SECTION 50 AND REGULATION 109.THE following promotions are provisional and subject to appeal by officers to the Public Service Board, and, where consequent upon
another provisional promotion, shall be dependent upon the latter being confirmed. Appeals should be lodged, either by letter ortelegram, within fourteen days of the date of this notification, as follows

is hereby given that a petition for the winding upEthe above -named Company by the Supreme Court of
the Australian Capital Territory was on the twenty -fifth dayof August, 1944, presented to the said Court by SteamshipsTrading Company Limited, of Port Moresby, in the Territoryof Papua. And that the said petition is directed to be heardbefore the Court on the tenth day of October, 1944, at half -past Ten a.in., at the Federal Bankruptcy Court, 7th Floor,Commonwealth Bank Building, 112 Pitt- street, Sydney, andany creditor or contributory of the said Company desirous tosupport or oppose the making of an order on the said petitionmay appear at the time cf hearing in person or by his Counselfor that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnishedto any creditor or contributory of the said company requiringthe saine by the undersigned on payment of the regulatedcharge for the same.
