POTENTIAL MOTION: I MOVE TO ALLOCATE $25,000 FROM THE PROFIT OF THE 2016 FLORIDA PUBLIC WORKS EXPO TO THE 2017 PWX ACCOUNT. POTENTIAL MOTION: I MOVE TO ALLOCATE THE REMAINING PROFIT OF THE 2016 FLORIDA PUBLIC WORKS EXPO TO THE CHAPTER GENERAL FUND TO OFFSET POTENTIAL REDUCTIONS IN PROFIT FROM 2017 FLORIDA PUBLIC WORKS EXPO. 2017 PWX: Fundraising: - The Fundraising Committee has done a great job of raising funds through private vendors. We have had a number of Networking Events across the state and have raised over 57% of our fundraising goal! Get Acquainted Party: - Rosen Poolside – Pool Party Inside and Out Next Host Committee Meeting – July 29, 2016 – Lakeland, Florida National Board Dinner: On June 5, 2016 the National Board of Directors met in Lido Beach, Florida. The chapter hosted a dinner for the Board members at Tommy Bahamas and it was very well received. Thank you to our Treasurer, Delegate, Suncoast District Rep, and family members for representing the Florida Chapter to the National Board! 2016-2017 Strategic Plan Update: The Strategic Plan update will be reviewed at the Friday meeting for any ideas or changes. POTENTIAL MOTION: I MOVE TO APPROVE THE 2016-2017 UPDATE TO THE FLORIDA CHAPTER STRATEGIC PLAN.

POTENTIAL MOTION: I MOVE TO APPROVE THE 2016-2017 UPDATE TO THE FLORIDA CHAPTER STRATEGICPLAN.
2016-2017 Initiatives:
1. Education – (50 Training Sessions in Florida):1. First Webinar is being Finalized for Presentation in July or August
2. Membership – (1,500 Members):1. WE ARE NOW NUMBER 3 IN THE NATION!!!! 2. Elia and I represented the Chapter at the Annual FCCMA Conference and got a great response.3. Next Step – Letters to State Public Works Directors
3. Cruise for Scholarships:1. The Cruise is planned for March 3-6, 2017.2. See Information Attached to Report to sign up!
4. Written Partnerships with other Organizations:1. Currently developing a “Joint Resolution” to use with FACERS and FRPA
5. Leadership APWA Program1. Developing as a part of the 2017 Tallahassee Expo Planning
6. Technical Committee Improvement1. All Technical Committees are off and running except for Fleet – NEED VOLUNTEER TO CHAIR
The Chapter Dinner will be at the Wabasha Street Caves on Tuesday at PWX. Cost per person is $60 and we are invitingother chapters in our region. Please sign up on the Chapter Website.
