DAY 7 Tuesday 3 March, 2020 Sabang, Indonesia Sabang is a part-traditional fishing village, part-colonial era town located on Weh Island, off the northern tip of Sumatra. Today we will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the island, including the old colonial buildings, the Sabang street market and a photo stop at Jalan Elak to view the Anak Laut Lake, a freshwater lake that supplies the Island’s water. In the afternoon we travel to the Kilometre Zero Monument. Built on the edge of a 74 foot-high cliff, this landmark is the most Western point in Indonesia and offers spectacular views of the Andaman Sea and Malacca Strait.

DAY 8 Wednesday 4 March, 2020 Day at seaOur first day at sea is a fantastic opportunity to explore the facilities of the ship. This afternoon test your knowledge with fellow group members as we play a fun game of Trivia.

DAY 11 Saturday 7 March, 2020 Male, Maldives Today we arrive in Male, the capital of the Maldives. With an area of less than six square kilometres and a population of about 150,000 citizens, Male is one of the world’s smallest national capitals. On our tour today, we will take a boat and cruise around some of the most spectacular islands in the Maldives. Enjoy the pristine beaches and abundant wildlife as we explore these unique islands.

DAY 14 Tuesday 10 March, 2020 Port Victoria, SeychellesThis morning we arrive in Victoria, the capital of the Seychelles and located on the island of Mahe, surrounded by jungle-clad mountains that rise from the Indian Ocean. On our tour today we will enjoy a scenic drive through Victoria. Although it is among the smallest capital cities in the world, Victoria possesses a great deal of history and charm. We also visit some of the famed beaches of the Seychelles with their spectacular granite outcrops.

DAY 15 Wednesday 11 March, 2020 Port VictoriaA free day to explore the island of Mahe. Its palm-fringed beaches are perhaps the most beautiful in the world, with a spectacular mountainous interior. This gorgeous island is a definite highlight of the cruise.

DAY 1 Wednesday 26 February, 2020 Departure/SingaporeToday we depart Australia on our flight to the amazing city of Singapore. Upon arrival we are transferred to our city hotel.

DAY 2 Thursday 27 February, 2020 EmbarkationThis morning we will meet our local guide and enjoy a comprehensive tour of this vibrant city including historic China Town, the magnificent Orchid Gardens and the Marina Bay Precinct. This afternoon it’s all aboard Norwegian Jade for our fantastic 20 night cruise to Abu Dhabi.

DAY 3 Friday 28 February, 2020 Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaToday we call into the Port Kelang, Malaysia. We have a tour of the city of Kuala Lumpur, which is now a very modern city. We will see the famous Petronas Towers, once the highest buildings in the world, the historic colonial areas and the beautiful Lake Gardens with its Botanical and Bird Parks.

DAY 4 Saturday 29 February, 2020 Langkawi, MalaysiaLangkawi is an archipelago of 99 islands in the Andaman Sea, 30km away from the mainland coast of Northwestern Malaysia. On our tour today we will have the opportunity to visit a working rubber plantation. Colonial Europeans explored Southeast Asia in the late 19th Century and planted rubber trees to harvest the sap these trees produce. It was at one time one of Malaysia’s prime industries. We will see kampungs, villages with typical Malay houses built on stilts for protection from flooding. Later we will visit the tomb of one of Langkawi’s most time honoured legends, Princess Mahsuri. Found guilty by the village elders and sentenced to die by impalement, this is a story of love, jealousy, and justice gone awry.

DAY 5 Sunday 1 March, 2020 Phuket, ThailandPhuket, a rain forested, mountainous island in the Andaman Sea, has some of Thailand’s most popular beaches, mostly situated along the clear waters of the western shores and is home to many high-end seaside resorts. Today we will take a relaxing boat journey of Phang Nga Bay. Explore pristine beaches, islands, mangrove forests, lagoons and caves on this fantastic exploration of the bay. We will also see the famed James Bond Island that was featured in the film The Man with the Golden Gun. There will be an included Thai lunch.

DAY 6 Monday 2 March, 2020 PhuketToday we visit Phuket Town, the Thalang National Museum which has fascin-ating displays about the island’s indigenous culture. There are a couple of Hindu Temples on the island, as well as a number of Buddhist shrines, including the Wat Chalong Temple, which is the centre for worship on Phuket. High in the Nakkerd Hills, northwest of Chalong Circle, the 45m-high Big Buddha sits in imposing fashion on the island’s finest viewpoint.

The Senior’s cruise will be a wonderful experience cruising from Southeast Asia to the Middle East. The cruise includes sightseeing tours in the ports of call and special events for tour members. We hope that you can join us!

DAY 22 Wednesday 18 March, 2020 Dubai, UAEThis morning we arrive in Dubai, a city that has undergone an almost miraculous transformation from desert town to a sophisticated and wealthy centre of Arab influence. On our tour we visit the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa. We travel in a lift up this amazing building where we have spectacular views of Dubai. We travel out to the reclaimed Palms and see the new Atlantis development. We will also stop at the famous mall of the Emirates, where you can see the indoor skiing in the desert. The tour continues to Al Bastakiya, the old part of Dubai. We cross the Creek to the Spice Souk and there will be time to shop in the most famous landmark of Dubai – the Gold Souk. We check into our hotel mid-afternoon.

DAY 23 Thursday 19 March, 2020 DubaiA free day to relax in Dubai and enjoy Dubai’s reputation for fabulous shopping. This evening the group is transferred into the desert for our fantastic “dinner in the desert” We will travel by four wheel drive vehicles to a location surrounded by sand dunes, where we will have a sumptuous BBQ dinner and watch traditional belly dancers.

DAY 24 Friday 20 March, 2020 DepartureThis morning is free to do some shopping before we are transferred to Dubai airport to board our flight back to Australia.

DAY 25 Saturday 21 March, 2020 Arrive Australia The group arrives in Australia and tour arrangements conclude.

DAY 16 Thursday 12 March, 2020 Day at seaA free day to enjoy the facilities of the ship. This afternoon join us for a fun game of Scattergories with prizes for the winners.

DAY 19 Sunday 15 March, 2020 Muscat, OmanThis morning we arrive in Muscat, a port the likes of which cannot be found anywhere in the world. In the city we will see the Al Alam Palace and drive along the beautiful Corniche to visit the Muttrah Souk. We then travel outside Muscat to visit the impressive Nahkal fort, one of the oldest in the country, and its nearby natural hot springs. We return to the cruise terminal via the beautiful Grand Mosque.

DAY 20 Monday 16 March, 2020 Khasab, OmanThis morning we arrive in Khasab, the most ‘northern city’ in the Emirates. Khasab is well-known for its variety of outdoor activities due to its strategic location and its beautiful mountains capes as well as fjord-like craggy inlets. On our sightseeing tour today we will explore the city of Khasab and its surrounding areas including the Fort Khasab, which was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century.

DAY 21 Tuesday 17 March, 2020 Abu Dhabi, UAEThis morning we arrive in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE to visit the newly opened Louvre Museum. You will be amazed at the 1800 meter dome comprised of almost 8000 metal stars that creates a rain of light beneath the dome, as well as artworks on loan from 13 leading museums in France. In the afternoon we visit the Falcon Hospital, the world’s foremost falcon welfare institution, where you will have the opportunity to hold a falcon and visit a free-flight aviary to see them swoop through the sky.

After extensive upgrades, Norwegian Jade returns to the fleet with new venues, modern décor and design, and refurbished staterooms. Enjoy O’Sheehan’s Neighbourhood Bar & Grill, a 24 hour pub serving up your favourite comfort foods. Stop by The Pit Stop, a new concept that combines poolside fun and fare. Clothing on board Norwegian JadeClothing onboard the Norwegian Jade is cruise casual anytime during the day, in the buffet and in most specialty restaurants. Dress smart casual in the more formal dining room or in one of the upscale specialty restaurants. For women, it includes slacks or jeans, dresses, skirts and tops. For men, it’s jeans or slacks with a collared shirt and closed-toed shoes.

Don’t worry about coming aloneWe will match people in twin-share cabins when available, saving you the single supplement. There will be group activities most days. General Information and Booking ConditionsTouring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this tour without the need of assistance from others.

TOUR OPERATOR: Travelrite International Pty Ltd (ABN 64 005 817 078) is the tour organiser. Norwegian Jade is operated by Norwegian Cruise Lines and the fly, cruise and tour arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions and general information detailed in the Norwegian Cruise Lines brochure and website. All passengers must complete the Norwegian Cruise Lines online check-in on https://www.ncl.com/au/en/ as well as a Travelrite booking form.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT: A deposit of $900 per passenger should be sent with a completed Travelrite International booking form that lists your requested cabin category. As soon as the booking is confirmed, (usually within 24 hours), a cruise confirmation advice will be posted to the client. The confirmation advice will contain all details. Final payments are due to be paid to Travelrite International 120 days prior to the commencement of the tour. A 1.5% administration fee will be added to payments by credit card. If fares and air taxes change due to government and airport regulations or currency fluctuations Travelrite International reserves the right to charge additional amounts.

REFUNDS: The cruise is based on arrangements which do not allow for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accomm-odation, meals or other services not utilised after the tour has commenced.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: All passengers will require a valid passport with six month validity. If not an Australian passport holder check with Travelrite International for visa requirements.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Adequate travel insurance is highly recommended to cover cruise members for the consequences of unforeseen events during the cruise and for cancellation fees which could result from events such as illness, accident, death, delay etc.

BAGGAGE: Passengers qualify for a 30kg free baggage allowance on flights to join or return from the cruise.

MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS: The cruise arrangements have been made on the basis of a minimum number of passengers travelling. In the event that less than the required number of passengers have confirmed their booking 120 days from the date of departure, Travelrite International reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of monies paid, or offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified fare. RESPONSIBILITIES: Travelrite International Pty Ltd is the tour organiser. Travelrite International Pty Ltd, it’s agents, officers, affiliates, and/or suppliers of services pursuant to or in connection with these fly/cruise/stay holidays shall act only as agents in making arrangements for hotels, transportation including transportation by ship, restaurants, or any other service and do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of negligence or a default of any hotel, carrier restaurant company or person rendering any services included in fly/cruises, or by act of God. Further no responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery break-down, quarantine, government restraints, weather, terrorism or other causes beyond their control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omission, delays, re-routing or acts of any government authority. Baggage is at owners risk throughout the fly/cruise/stay holiday. The passage contract between the carriers concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers of these fly/cruise/stay holidays and/or the passengers. The right is reserved to withdraw any fly/cruise/stay holiday and/or make such changes in the fly/cruise/stay holidays as may be found desirable or necessary for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out of the fly/cruises. This contract shall be construed in accordance of the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia and any legal action must be taken in the State of Victoria. Travelrite may without reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as your agent engage any third party to provide or make available to you, any good or service which Travelrite reasonably believes is necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason.
