To Connect to IISc Network via VPN for the 1st

time

Open Google Chrome and enter https://vpn-iisc.iisc.ernet.in

You will get message saying untrusted certificate, click on proceed anyway.

Please enter your VPN credentials ( Note if you have only wireless access, users need to get approval

for VPN access by filling form which is available in NITSS homepage accessible within IISC campus

network )

Cisco Anyconnect Client will start downloading on your machine

Press Continue button, as you might get certificate error

Click on Run

Now You have Connected to IISc Network and application is installed and always available in your

notification area on taskbar ( Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client ) with Status.

For future connections to IISC network, click on Start and select Cisco Anyconnect Secure

Mobility Client as shown below.

Type vpn-iisc.iisc.ernet.in and press connect.

Now you have connected to IISc Network
