Purpose
• As stated in the Board Policy 9040, “The Board of Education supports multi-faceted approaches to curriculum that may include the use of outdoor education experiences that directly support specific core curriculum content.”
• The Teton Science School experience directly mirrors the curriculum taught in 9th grade Earth Systems.
• TMIS teachers can request curriculum-specific activities to be provided during our stay at the Teton Science School
Trip Details
• Dates requested: Tuesday, March 3 through Saturday, March 7, 2009
• # of students: 20-30• # of chaperones: 3• Cost per student: $324.75 (includes lodging,
meals, equipment, instruction at Teton Science School) plus additional money (~$100.00) for charter bus
