MAJOR equipment cannot own an Inspection Task. They must be created in the MINOR equipment(s) associated with the MAJOR equipment. 2.2 Configuration Users with Visions Administrator privileges can use the Visions Administrator module to configure some of the Inspection Task fields for mandatory entry. 1 PURPOSE
A Visions Inspection Task (IT) is an inspection document used to detail one time or recurringinspection activities that will be completed by the inspector or 3rd party contractors under theirsupervision.
2 DESCRIPTION
2.1 Definition
An Inspection Task deals mainly with stationary pressure equipment and piping, but is also usedto support inspection activities for other types of equipment such as pumps, compressors,sewers, etc. where inspection involvement is required.
MAJOR equipment cannot own an Inspection Task. They must be created in the
MINOR equipment(s) associated with the MAJOR equipment.
2.2 Configuration
Users with Visions Administrator privileges can use the Visions Administrator module to configuresome of the Inspection Task fields for mandatory entry. This provides for data entry and reportgeneration consistency. For further details see Visions Security Module #TM-V4-001.

Outline the required inspection task in sufficient detail to describe what is required and to justify the required work, keeping in mind that this description will serve as part of thepermanent history of the equipment.
2.3.3.3 Proposed Disposition
Detail the recommended means of completing the task.

Double click on the selected equipment number which will open the Summary tab for thespecified equipment and present the Overview tab. Right mouse click on Inspection Task andthen select New:
Note that Visions creates a new Memo Number and includes it in the Overview.
