Course Structure:Training will be delivered face to face, may also be delivered in a blended delivery.

What will you achieve from this course? • A nationally recognised qualification • Skills & knowledge to perform driving roles

What you need to know about this course:• Assessments are conducted in the classroom • Classroom based delivery• This is a competency based course• You will need to be competent in all units before attempting your Licence• You will have an opportunity to catch up on training missed i.e. If you were off due to illness

Assessments are made up of a range of: • Case studies • Demonstrations and role plays • Questions and answers

Job Roles:Job roles and titles vary across different sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include:• Line Haul Driver• Local Heavy General Freight Driver• Interstate Driver

To be deemed competent: • You must complete all assessments to a satisfactory standard as set by your assessor• Assessments are assessed by the trainer Course entry requirements:• There are no entry requirements for this qualification, however, literacy skill are critical.• Recognition for units may be granted based on previous learning, studies, work and / or life experiences

What you will need to be eligible to do the course -• All participants must be at least 18 years old• A current Drivers Licence, held for at least 12 months• All participants must have sound language and literacy skills; this is vital in the delivery of the assessment projects.• All participants must be able to effectively conduct practical demonstrations• and written tasks to complete the required assessment. • If you hold a MR License you may be upgraded to the HR License
