TKP device is designed to program SMART type keys of TOYOTA/LEXUS and SUBARU vehicles

(even if all keys are LOST). You don’t need PC, soldering iron, EEPROM programmers etc. TKP programmer is all you need!

Always use “SMART module backup” before program anything!!! Then you always can restore original data in case if something gone wrong. Device always helps you to find a key type you must use. Compact and clearly visible LCD screen will make your job comfortable and pleasant.

Never the use of PROFESSIONAL programmer was not so simple! It’s a best offer in the market now...

Main functionality of TKP programmer:

Unlock car doors and disable car alarm Reset ID-BOX and SMART security modules

Add keys Program of G-type keys

Program used keys to the car Erase lost keys Make marriage of the electrical steering lock

Get info about keys currently programmed in vehicle VIN number clear/write

Hints: For fast start of the car, please refer to chapter 1 “FAST START WITH KEY PROGRAMMING”

To program WORKING key, please do the following steps: 1. Make procedure described in chapter 8 “SMART-MODULE BACKUP PROCEDURE”. 2. Make procedure described in chapter 7 “MASTER KEY IDENTIFICATION AND INITIAL

PROGRAMMING” using correct type of the key (if you did not do that during fast start). 3. Make procedure described in chapter 1 “FAST START WITH KEY PROGRAMMING” (if you did

not do that during fast start). 4. Make procedure described in chapter 2 “ADDITIONAL KEY PROGRAMMING” if you have

blank key or chapter 6 “USED KEY AND GENUINE MASTER KEY PROGRAMMING”. 5. If procedure cannot be finished or something went wrong-make procedure described in

chapter 13 “SMART MODULE RECOVERY FROM BACKUP”, to recover a possibility to start a car with master-key.

6. If above steps do not help, remove ID-box and fulfill procedures described in chapter 14 “ ID-BOX DIRECT RESET” and chapter 12 “SMART MODULE RESET”, after that make procedure described in chapter 2 ” ADDITIONAL KEY PROGRAMMING ”.

To resolve possible problems with electric steering lock, please fulfill procedure described in

chapter 4 “STEERING LOCK IDENTIFICATION PROCEDURE”.

To unlock car doors and disable car alarm, please fulfill procedure described in chapter 11 “UNLOCK THE DOORS”.

To erase/program VIN number, please make procedure described in chapters 1 18, 19 and 20 accordingly.

1. FAST START WITH KEY PROGRAMMING (TOYOTA and SUBARU SMART-key).

Steps: 1. Switch ignition OFF. (Ensure steering wheel is blocked!) 2. Remove SMART module (Detach connectors first!) 3. Firmly cleanup EEPROM (IC003) pins from varnish (Look at pic.1)! 4. Connect cable with “crocodile clamp” to device. Device will switch main menu on. 5. Connect “crocodile clamp” to the EEPROM IC003. Note that red marked wire of the cable must

match PIN1 of the EEPROM (Look at pic. 1). (Check connection carefully – otherwise EEPROM or SMART module can be damaged!)

6. Select “START_M” in device menu. Press “OK”. “WAIT…” message will appear; 7. If procedure completes successfully, “OK!” Message will appear. In case if procedure lasts

approx. 2-3 sec. Or more or you get message:”ERROR! POOR CONN” – that means there is bad connection to EEPROM, or crocodile clamp connected improperly. Detach cable out of device and check for proper and tight connection. Repeat procedure.

8. If procedure finished with “OK!” message, disconnect cable out of the device. 9. Install SMART module back to the car. Touch START button with logo side of the programmed

Master-key. Press brake pedal. Car must issue ready to start signal along with green LED inside of START button. Keep pressing brake pedal push START button. Your car will start! You can program additional key if needed (Look «ADDITIONAL KEY PROGRAMMING» chapter) using Master-key as «already programmed» key.
