We had a great November meeting at Gordon Biersch Brew- ery Restaurant in New Orleans, which if you were there, you know it was “Very Good, Very Good, Yay! (Inside joke for those that attended). Andra Aitken was our speaker and showed us how to relieve some stress, have fun, and laugh a lot! It was a very unique experience and I am glad we were able to have some fun. We also formally approved the new Bylaws & Standing Rules; these changes will be effective January 1 st , 2018. For any- one who stayed after the meeting, we got to take a Brewery tour which was fascinating! Thanks to everyone who attended our Jingle Dat party. We brought some Christmas cheer and cheered on our Saints. Even though the Saints did not win, we definitely had a great time together! Thanks to everyone who fought the cold weather and joined us for a fun night. Big time accolades to Courtney Donato for organizing and promoting! Since Christmas time is a great time to do something for others, we recently went to St. Anthony’s Nursing Home and hosted a holiday party and brought gifts for all the residents. Debbie Lee dressed up as Santa Claus and took pictures with all the residents. They were so grateful to have us there and some even had tears in their eyes. It is always so reward- ing to give back as an association and also to be able to spend some quality time with great people. Debbie Harrington and Debbie Lee did a great job organizing and setting up for the event. Thanks to all our volunteers who helped stuffed bags at the board meeting, and attended the event on Saturday. Our Annual Day of CE will be on Tuesday, January 16 th at The Jefferson Orleans – North and will include an Ethics class taught by our very own Jamie Renton and Shawn Tinsley from Wright Flood. Please see the flyer in the Tattler and pass this on to your colleagues. The Save the Date for the Region VI Conference is attached to this Tattler. The confer- ence will be held from March 8 th through March 10, 2018, and will be held in Lafayette, Louisiana. The theme for this year’s convention is: “Going All In Cajun Style.” Hope to see everyone there in March! Reserve your room today! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Well it’s that time of year already - the most wonderful time of the year! I sincerely want to thank all of our officers, board members and members for their support and participation to TIPOGNO. I believe 2018 will be an even better year with lots of education, networking and fun in the works! Wishing you and your families a very Happy Holiday Season! PS: No general meeting in December

there.
The party was on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2:30 pm. We had Santa Claus and
some elves join us to help celebrate and give out presents to the residents. Each resident
received a gift bag with a throw blanket, Christmas cup w/straw and Christmas cake.
We also served punch and party food to the residents as well.
