Prepare a Bay Area Regional Rail Plan for MTC Consideration and Adoption
INCLUDES:– Plan Horizon includes Short (< 10 years), Intermediate

– Four Regional Rail Components– Three High-Speed Rail Outcomes
Four Components of Regional Rail Regional Rapid Transit (i.e., BART)
Railroad-Based Passenger Systems (e.g., Caltrain, Capitol Corridor, ACE)
Bay Area High-Speed Segments Other extensions of rapid transit or
railroad-based passenger services (e.g., eBART)
Plan Will Address Three Possible High Speed Rail Outcomes
