Curriculum Day tomorrow – no students at school. School Facilities Many parents have been speaking to me lately about our facilities. Building and facility upgrades are totally in the hands of the DET. There has been some talk from the current government about projecting more funds into facilities but until our school receives an allocation we must look after and make the best of what we have. Our buildings, including the toilets are cleaned on a daily basis and during the term holidays, carpets and floors are given a thorough cleaning. Sometimes the cleaners have to clean up messes that would make most of us baulk. Please have a chat to your children about looking after our facilities and in particular making sure they are using the toilets properly. Our Office The school office is the central hub of the school. All parents and visitors MUST go to the office first if they wish to see a teacher, pick up their students or speak to the Principal or Assistant Principal. This rule is in place for the safety and wellbeing of everyone in the school.

Enrolments for 2016 If you have a child who is coming to school next year, please come into the office and collect an enrolment form. We have to lodge our proposed numbers with Department of Education and Training (DET) in early August, so the sooner we have an idea of our Prep numbers for next year, the better the prediction we can make. If you can’t get into the office, please call and our lovely office girls will mail an enrol-ment form to you. Also, if you know you will be leaving the school at the end of this year (we don’t want you to) please let us know. This does not apply to departing Year 6 students.
