Timetabling Project 2014 Aims:
• Online –personalised to student level online
• Earlier- publication of final timetables 4 weeks earlier
• Better quality- more accurate information, data integrity checking
Key Aspects of Implementation
• Data Cleansing
• Better link between student records system and S+
• Problems, problems problems!
• Uploading data via excel
• Merging Scarborough into the Hull database
Enhanced communication
• Dedicated project team and technical consultant.
• Department Reps networking
• Clearing meeting with “Faculty co-ordinators”
• Use of Technology, Lync, S+ access.

Have we achieved our aims?
• Online – all Faculties except 1 online (Nursing opted out)
• Earlier- 2 weeks earlier for continuers, POS and Module info available in July, subject to changes. New students individual TT’s when they arrive and register.
• Better- more data checking, better information from departments.
