Timeline of Muslim Ummah

• Interpretation of a hadith of Muhammad (peace be upon him) is : “The Prophet hood will remain among you for as long as Allah wills, then Allah will lift it when He wishes to, then it will be a Khilafah Rashida (rightly guided) on the method of the prophecy, it will remain for as long as Allah wills, then Allah will lift it if He wishes, then it will be a corrupt/erosive leadership, which will remain for as long as Allah wills, then He will lift it if he wishes, then it will be a despotic rule, and it will remain so for as long as Allah wills, then He will lift it if He wishes, then it will be a Khilafah Rashida on the method of the prophecy, then he kept silent.”(Musnad of Imam Ahmad 4/273) (This hadith is Sahih)

Prophet hood

• Prophet hood did remain among us until the death of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

Death of Prophet

• Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) died on 8th of June 632, which is 14th Rabi Al-Awwal 11 A.H.

Khilafah Rashida

• So the next was the Khilafah Rashida (rightly guided) on the method of the prophecy.

30 years of Khilafah Rashida

• And this Khilafah Rashida (rightly guided) on the method of the prophecy did remain among us for 30 years after the death of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

• Interpretation of a hadith of Muhammad (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) is:

• The caliphate of Prophecy will last thirty years; then Allah will give the Kingdom to whom he wishes; or his kingdom to whom he wishes.

Corrupt Leadership

• After the time of Khilafah Rashida (rightly guided) on the method of the prophecy, time of corrupt/erosive leadership started.

Despotic Rule

• According to the interpretation of the hadith, despotic rule is after corrupt leadership.

• If we are at the time of despotic rule then the next system of ruling will be Khilafah Rashida (rightly guided) on the method of the prophecy inshaAllah according to the interpretation of the hadith. Allah knows the best.

• Interpretation of a hadith of Muhammad (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) is: Allah will raise for this community at the end of every hundred years the one who will renovate its religion for it.
