Precast buildings are one of the major development in construction technology, this technology helps to reduce the construction time and cost. Precast building construction is widely improved at present in India. The Growth of the precast building construction improved in large scale but construction and Design faults made the Precast buildings week in seismic areas. Due to seismic effect Beam column connections are very critical in Precast buildings ,Generally precast buildings are constructed with help connecting with proper joints of prefabricated elements. Designers are assumed that Beam-column connections are hinged one but in real time execution process the connections are Different from assumption. In present study we consider the three types of Beam-columns connections such as Rigid connection ,semi-Rigid connection and Hinged connections are developed in G+20 High rise building .These High rise building analysed with help of Time history analysis of High Seismic waves, Moderate Seismic waves and Low seismic waves .It helps to Identify the behaviour of connections and The results of Top Displacements , story Drifts and Inter storey Drifts are compared for the Different connections and Different Seismic waves. Keywords: Rigid connection, Semi-Rigid connection, Hinged connections, Storey Displacement, Storey Drift, Inter Storey Drift. I. INTRODUCTION Earth consists of three Layers they are core, mantle and crust .The crust consists of Lithosphere and it is Broken into several plates ,these plates are known as Tectonic plates, these plates float on asthenosphere. The asthenosphere contains a semi-liquid state of material, because of these material the conventional currents are developed, this conventional currents create Driving forces .The driving forces are helps in movement of plates. The movement of plates are different types in this process plate boundaries collide each other and Large amount of pressure released, thus pressure released in the form of waves Which are termed as Earthquakes. The precast concrete industry is spread in our country in a dominated manner because of these most favour attributes .These Precast industry mainly on Residential and commercial buildings construction and many more infrastructural projects. The speed Growth of the industry because of the precast products are create revolution on time consuming nature of the traditional construction methods .precast elements are not only time reducing but also efficient, Durable, Easy to handle and cost effective. Precast elements are prefabricated elements. The elements are concreted in re-useable moulds, cured in controlled temperature finally transported and Erected with suitable joints. Types of Precast systems Depending on the Load bearing of the structure, precast systems are divide into the following categories. A. Large panel system In Large panel system walls,Floors and Slabs are casted in Large panels as a single units individually,These panels are cured and transported and connected in horizontal and vertical directions with appropriate spaces for the rooms in a building. These walls can resist the Gravity Loads and Floors, Slabs act like Diaphragms to transfer the horizontal loads. Large panel system is like a Box type structure. B. Frame systems Precast frames are constructed using spatial Beam-column sub assemblages. The Beam-column junctions are connected by placing the Linear elements together with connecting faces. The beams are seated on corbels at the column faces for the ease of doing construction and to transfer the shear from Beam to column. C. Slab-Column System with Shear wall In Slab column system on shear walls to resist the Lateral Loads. This System resists mainly Gravity Loads. In these system combination of Lift Slab system with walls and the prestressed Slab-column system. In the Lift slab system Load bearing structure consists of precast reinforced concrete columns and slabs. All the precast structural elements are joined by the special joints. the prestressed slab-column system erecting the slab and column of a storey, the column and floor slabs are prestressed by means of prestressing tendons are passed through the ducts of column at the floor and after prestressing the gap between the slabs are filled with concrete and the tendon become a bonded with a spans.
