El Presente continuo
La estructura del presente
continuo (Present Continuous) en inglés es
sencilla:
[SUJETO] + am/are/is (verbo to be) + [ VERBO CON -ING ( gerundio)]
La negación en el presente continuo
La negación con los verbos plenos (esto es no modales
y no auxiliares) es muy simple:
[SUJETO] + am/are/is (verbo "to be") + not
+ [VERBO CON -ING ( gerundio)]
I am not singingyo no estoy cantandohe is not singingél no está cantando
La interrogación en el presente

Para construir la interrogación simpl
emente hay que invertir el orden del sujeto y del verbo to
be:
Estructura de la interrogación:
am/are/is + [SUJETO] + [VERBO
CON "-ing"]?

La estructura del present perfect
continuous en inglés es:
[SUJETO] + have/has been + [VERBO EN
GERUNDIO (-ing form)]
presente perfecto continuo
La negación en el present perfect
continuous es similar al resto de tiempos

Formación de la interrogación en el presente perfecto
continuo
Como es habitual se forma la interrogación invirtiendo el
orden del sujeto y del verbo to have:
Have/has + [SUJETO] + been + [VERBO EN GERUNDIO (-ing
form)]?
Si la oración tuviera un pronombre o un adverbio interrogativo la construcción
sería:[PARTÍCULA INTERROGATIVA] + have/has + [SUJETO] + been +[VERBO EN GERUNDIO (-ing form)]

El Pasado Continuo
La estructura del Pasado Continuo (Past Continuous
Tense) es:[SUJETO] + was/were
+ [VERBO con terminación -ing (gerundio)]
La negación en el pasado continuo
La negación se forma añadiendo simplemente el adverbio "not"
entre el verbo "to be" (was/were) y el verbo
principal de la oración:
Estructura:[SUJETO] + was/were not + [VERBO con la
terminación -ing ( gerundio)]
I was not singingyo no estaba cantandohe was not singingél no estaba cantando
La interrogación
Para construir la interrogación simplemente se invierte el verbo "to be" y
