INFOIt is a bust of Nefertiti, wife of Akhenaton.

Nefertiti was one of the few well-known queens of Egypt, through influencing her husband and eventually ruling Egypt by herself.

She was known for her great beauty and her name translates to The Beautiful One Has Come.

She was a prominent figure in the Amarna age.

It was created in an art period of great change due to the fact that Akhenaton had changed the official gods of Egypt.

OPINIONS

The eyes are extremely disturbing.

I want to know why the artist didn’t finish the eyes.

It was interesting how they demonstrated the proper regal characteristics in the bust (poise, grace, and beauty).

Why is the pupil black and the eyes green?

This bust was obviously the first attempt to hypnotize human beings with an inamimate objects
