Hartlieb: [email protected] or Katie Hartzheim: [email protected] KOHL’S WILD THEATER TO VISIT: Actors portraying animals from around the world will sing, dance and talk when Kohl’s Wild Theater takes the stage at 10:00 am at Thiensville on Thursday, October 11th, 2012. Kohl’s Wild Theater is a live, interactive, family-friendly program that promotes conversation of wildlife and animal habitats through drama, puppetry, and songs. During the free, 40-minute performance, actors will invite students to participate in two professionally performed plays and become part of the action by providing sound effects on cue and helping onstage characters. Kohl’s Wild Theater is made possible through a partnership between Kohl’s Cares and the Zoological Society of Milwaukee. For more information of the Kohl’s Wild Theater program, visit www.wildtheater.org.
WELCOME TO MARKET DAY: If you've never ordered groceries from Market Day's monthly grocery program, now is a great time to try it out. All new customers can save $5 when you spend $25 by entering promo code NEWFIVE at checkout. Lumen Christi families enjoy the baby back ribs, frozen vegetables, and mini cheese omelets. It's really easy to participate - place your order at www.marketday.com by September 29th, and then stop by the Mequon cafeteria on Wednesday, October 3rd from 3-4pm to pickup your items. Your order matters. Up to 20% of every order goes back to our Parents Association to fund events including Rainbow Olympics, teacher appreciation, and the School Directory. If you need alternative pickup arrangements or have questions, please contact Kim Althaus at (262)-242-1963 or [email protected]. Thank you for ordering!

“Givebacks” Several times throughout the year, we will feature a restaurant or store that you will visit on a specific night. For all sales of that specific day, the school will receive anywhere from 10-30% back. Past offers included Chancery, Culver’s, Noodles, Charming Charlie and more. Last year, we raised over $2,000 with this program.
“Scrip” Scrip is simply a word that means “substitute money” – in other words, scrip is gift cards from national and local retailers. They’re the same gift cards that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our scrip program including JCPenney, The Gap, Shell, Pizza Hut, Red Lobster and many, many others. Simply purchase the gift cards and our school gets a portion of the proceeds and you can offset some of your tuition!
“Market Day” Market Day is a program that offers quality, nutritious and affordable groceries for families like yours. At least 10% of all sales go back to our school. Simply place your order by the deadline and pick up your food on the date and time that is specified.
“Target Red Card” Simply sign up for the either the Target Red Card or Debit Card and you can save yourself 5% off your total each visit and the school will receive 1% back. Simply go online and enter the Lumen Christi code #17126. So far, 43 families are currently signed up for the school giveback. Last year, Target donated $985.25 to Lumen Christi. This is an easy way to save yourself money and give back to the school at the same time!
“Scholastic Book Fair” For every book purchased during the book fair, the school will receive credit towards the purchase of new reading materials.
“Lands End” Be sure to use the school code #900-2577-6 when making a purchase. A percentage will be donated to our school.
Box Tops & Milk Caps A few times a year, there will be a collection of “Box Tops $ for Education” that can be found on the boxes of many products including cereal, granola bars, etc. We will also collect the Milk Caps that have specially marked tops from brand names like Kemps. Last year, we raised $2774.10 from our collections.
Please enclose all checks, payable to Lumen Christi Catholic School. Deliver to HLWKHU6FKRRO2I¿FHPDUNHG“Twilight Trivia”.
