With my second week under way, I am excited for the year ahead which will be both challenging and rewarding. I know that with Craighead’s friendly and encouraging environment, I can lead the girls to connue to support each other so we can all be the best version of ourselves. Craighead offers many fantasc opportunies for every student. As I have an eager atude, I found myself parcipang in many groups when I began at Craighead in Year 9. In parcular, I was able to pursue my passion for sport. I connue to enjoy playing Netball and Touch Rugby compevely and Tennis socially. I also enjoy taking part in a variety of the many co-curricular acvies that Craighead has to offer. I have been commied to and I am currently on the Chapel and Sports Commiees and a member of the Kapa Haka group. This year I have also joined the Global Cizens and Amnesty groups. I believe Craighead’s relaonship with the Anglican Church makes it unique from other schools and this helped me decide to be confirmed last year. The strong values Craighead upholds have shaped my feelings towards how I feel about serving in and contribung to the community. I coach and umpire younger sports teams and I enjoy vising rest homes and chang to the elderly people there. I feel proud to be a Craighead girl and am honoured to represent the school as Head Girl for my final year, before connuing my educaon at university next year.
