Why do we have species declining in numbers?
• Mostly human interaction with the species:– Overhunting– Climate change (caused by humans)– Destruction of habitat– Pollution – Introduction of invasive species
Threatened Species• Species who’s numbers are low; they may
become endangered

Endangered Species• A species who’s numbers are so low they are
in danger of being extinct
