• Describe the future enhancements for Care Connect for medical record documentation
Psychiatry – ADD and ADHD Prescribing
• Discuss best practice for diagnosing mature adults 40 and over with ADD
• Describe when Adderall is appropriate to prescribe
• Discuss the variability and pitfalls of prescribing Adderall “off label”
• Identify addictive behaviors in the older patient - the new addict looks different
• Address snorting and injecting crushed Adderall - risk for overdose

• Discuss partnership and the process of working with Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Discuss and describe the authority for enforcement of proper therapeutic vs non-therapeutic prescribing and required monitoring ie: controlled substance agreement, random drug screens

Innovations in Patient Safety for Primary Care
• Identify common challenges in patient safety within primary care practice settings
