Our Court will be donating items at our March 8 th meeting. Please be generous. Money donations are always welcome! Checks to be made out to CDA Court Ave Maria #2001. Money will be collected and one Court check will be given to Richmond State School. Opened in 1968, the Richmond State Supported Living Center is a community of more than 500 adults situated on 241 acres (1.0 km 2 ) on the banks of the Brazos River in unincorporated Fort Bend County , adjacent to and not within the city limits of Richmond . The campus serves a 13-county area, which includes Harris County. Approximately 1,200 employees staff the facility. Page 1 of 6

March 1, Ash Wednesday, all over the world, Catholics are going to be praying and fasting. It is a powerful day
to ask for God’s forgiveness and for the salvations of Souls. We also want to repent of individual and collective
sins that are destroying the Mystical Body of Christ. Maybe you might want to consider praying the Holy
Rosary daily during Lent or Read the Bible or attend daily mass and invite someone to join you. What sacrifice
are you going to do to prepare for Easter?

Catholic Advocacy Day is set for April 4, 2017. The primary focus of Advocacy Day is to bring awareness to
policies and programs that support the life and dignity of every human person from conception through
natural death, as well as policies that protect and provide for the poor and vulnerable, ensure justice for
immigrants, strengthen the family unit and those that ensure all people have easy access to adequate medical
