THIS WORKSHEET IS TO HELP YOU SET YOURSELF UP FOR SUCCESS FOR THE FIRST CHALLENGE OF
THE COURSE:
INTRO AND OVERVIEW
THE $2,000 WEEKEND CHALLENGE!
Be sure to watch the video for this lesson, as some of the answers you need are given
by Lewis!
Markets are constantly changing and unless you’re willing to change with them, you fall
behind.
So let’s find out what people are really wanting in your niche right now.
We’re going to cover my favorite ways to make money in a weekend.
There are two reasons I’m having you do this right now:
1. I want you to make your money back for your investment in this product
2. I want you to prove to yourself what’s possible when you give yourself a challenge
We’ve already covered the importance of creating financial goals. You have goals for
making an impact and goals for making money.
LESSON III / THE $2,000 WEEKEND CHALLENGEVIDEO I / INTRO AND OVERVIEW
4 of 5
The next step, and the point of you being a part of this course, is to create a legacy
which blends those two together.
We’re doing a 3-4 day weekend challenge.
You get to do a small test to find your audience if you don’t have one. And if you do
have an audience, you get to test your revised product offering on them.
RISE ABOVE THE NOISE.
This is really important, even if you’re already making great money with your offering.
It’s too easy to get stuck in your comfort zone of what works and stop pushing yourself
to evolve, expand, and get new feedback.
Take control of this challenge, and take it seriously. Share with your community and
the group, you might shock yourself.

LESSON III / THE $2,000 WEEKEND CHALLENGEVIDEO II / MY STUDENT JOHN
UNIT I / LESSON III / THE $2,000 WEEKEND CHALLENGE / VIDEO II / MY STUDENT JOHN
I’M BRINGING YOU ANOTHER GUEST VIDEO WITH JOHN LEE DUMAS TO TALK ABOUT HIS WEEKEND CHALLENGE
AND HOW IT CHANGED HIS BUSINESS FOREVER.
MY STUDENT JOHN
The first time John ever launched a product, he did this weekend challenge.
He took on the same thing you’re going to take on in your weekend challenge, how to
sell something before you’ve created it, and it was a HUGE success.
Take a look at the video with John and use the following space to take down and notes
and ideas you gather from learning from someone who has made it happen.
THIS WORKSHEET IS TO HELP YOU REFINE EXACTLY WHAT YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE OFFER WILL BE. IT SHOULD BE A VERSION OF WHAT YOU WANT TO
OFFER LONG TERM SO THAT YOU CAN FIND OUT HOW IN DEMAND YOUR OFFERING IS.
REFINING YOUR WEEKENDCHALLENGE OFFER
Be sure to watch the video for this lesson, as some of the answers you need are given
by Lewis!
The easiest way to sell your product quickly in a weekend challenge is to provide a
simple, clear solution to a ___________ that your audience already has.
This means you’re not going to need to spend a ton of time explaining or educating
your audience.
Rather than designing a whole website, you’re going to set up a simple blog post or
landing page with your offer details and pricing options.
You are going to educate your audience on your product, but you get to keep this brief
and to the point. To do this, create an outline for exactly what your offering is.
Right now you’re going to get even more specific on what you decided what your
offering is back in Lesson 2.
We’re going to refine and revise - and continue that process. For now let’s focus on
what we need to get done in order to bring your offering to the market STAT.
LESSON III / THE $2,000 WEEKEND CHALLENGEVIDEO III / REFINING YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE OFFER
UNIT I / LESSON III / THE $2K WEEKEND CHALLENGE / VIDEO III / REFINING YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE OFFER
(1)
How often are calls? / Where?
Who runs the group?
Are any in-person meet-up’s included?
What type of things will you discuss?
Why would it be a good fit for them?
VIDEO III / REFINING YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE OFFER
DEFINE YOUR OFFERING:
If you’re coaching - make sure to include things like:
UNIT I / LESSON III / THE $2K WEEKEND CHALLENGE / VIDEO III / REFINING YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE OFFER
If it’s a bootcamp, or online course - make sure to include things like
The lesson outline - step by step what they’ll learn each week
What types of materials they’ll get
What the outcome will be from taking the course/bootcamp
Why am I different?
Why is this offering effective / why does it work?
Why am I the one to be teaching it / why should someone get it from me?
What additional resources / bonuses am I adding to sweeten the pot?
What is the value of my offering compared to what I’m actually charging (obviously
show that the value is greater than the price tag)?
Why is it important they buy NOW?
VIDEO III / REFINING YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE OFFER
Then ask yourself, “Am I missing anything?”
Read back through what you have written and ask yourself if it answers the following
questions:

This is going to give you everything you need for a blog post about your offering. If
you need to, you can create this in a word document so you have it handy to send to
potential customers.
Getting clarity on your product offering will make it a lot easier to naturally sell your
product because you’re educating your audience on a solution instead of feeling
pushy and salesy.
I revise and refine and adjust as an ongoing practice- so these exercises I’m taking you
through are hopefully helping you get more clarity on what your offer is.
THIS WORKSHEET IS TO HELP YOU DIG INTO THE LAUNCH STRATEGY FOR YOUR WEEKEND CHALLENGE
AND CREATE A PLAN THAT WILL FURTHER YOUR SUCCESS. HAVING A STRATEGY AHEAD OF TIME
WILL HELP YOU STAY ON TRACK AND FOCUSED.
YOUR LAUNCH STRATEGY
Don’t forget to watch the interview with John before completing this worksheet.
Be sure to also watch the video for this lesson, as some of the answers you need are
given by Lewis!
Now that you have all of the information on your offering put together and in one
place, we’re ready to get into the strategy of your weekend launch.
You heard John and I talk about the system he used to launch his product, Podcaster’s
Paradise. Now I’m going to walk you through the steps of how he did that, and the
options you have for creating your $2,000 this weekend.
OPTION 1: WEBINAR
Remember what John said in his weekend challenge interview? He used a webinar to
offer his product before he created it- and it worked.
I personally am a huge fan of webinars. They’ve been the ___________ of my
business for years.

VIDEO IV / YOUR LAUNCH STRATEGY
You can host your webinar, or free training, on a free platform like Google Hangouts
or a paid platform like GoToWebinar or Zoom.
He promoted to anyone he could - via email, social media, word of mouth.
You’re going to do the same thing: ___________ your free training ___________.
Blast it to your email list, announce it to the groups you’re a part of, run Facebook ads
if you can. Get paid traffic if you have a little cash to spare.
On the free training, he taught some valuable content that he probably could have
charged for.
Then at the end of the webinar, he offered an “______ ______ _______” for a
super discounted rate (because when the actual course launched, it would be twice
that much).
At the end of your free webinar, you’re going to offer your solution to their big problem,
which is the advanced training - AKA your offering. You probably haven’t created this
yet - John didn’t either. He let the attendees know that the course wouldn’t be created
for WEEKS.
That’s why you’re going to sell it first to confirm people actually ___________ what
you’re offering.
Based on the ___________ you get from this webinar, you’ll create the content
over the coming weeks and then deliver it to your buyers.
Now, the mindset to have about this webinar is to GO ALL IN.

JOHN ENDED UP HAVING ABOUT 200 PEOPLE ON THE WEBINAR - AND
SOLD HIS PRODUCT FOR LESS THAN $300. HE DID ABOUT $10,000 IN
SALES IN THE FIRST WEEKEND.
