Prayer Focus
GENERAL
Fill my eyes, Oh my God, with a vision of the crossFill my heart with love for Jesus, the Nazarene
Fill my mouth with Thy praise. Let me sing through endless daysTake my will, let my life be wholly Thine
May this be our prayer as we draw near to God during this season of Lent. As we recall Christ’s death and resurrection which brings with it eternal and abundant life to all who believe, let our hearts and mouths be filled with endless praise. Then, let us pray for the grace to surrender
our lives afresh to Him.
Church Camp1. Pray that the camp committee may find favour, wisdom and guidance from the Lord as it takes care of the many things that need to be done to
make the camp a success.2. Pray for the camp speakers: Pastor Dato’ Dr Daniel Ho, Pastor Lydia Huang Rui Jun, David and Cynthia Leong. May they clearly hear what the Lord wants to say to His people as they prepare messages for the camp.3. Pray that God will prepare the hearts of the campers so they can
receive God’s Word.
Other Concerns1. Stephen O’Brien, the UN Under-Secretary-General for humanitarian affairs, told the security council that the world faces the largest humanitarian crisis since the end of World War 2 with more than 20 million people facing starvation and famine in four countries: Yemen, South Sudan, Somalia and northeast Nigeria. Let us pray for the necessary funds and safe and unimpeded access for humanitarian aid to avert
catastrophes in these regions.2. Continue to pray for the easing of tension between Malaysia and North
Korea over the murder of Kim Jong Nam.3. Pray for wisdom for our world leaders as they handle the tensions in the South China Sea, the Korean Peninsula and other countries affected
by wars and terrorism.4. Pray for the victims and families of those involved in the terror attack
in London
