If you are a first time guest, please stop by Guest Services located near the HomePointe Center in the Worship Center lobby before you leave. We have a gift for you and some helpful information about our church. Also, we would love to connect with you later in the week and ask that you fill out a Connection Card located in the pew rack. Simply drop the card in the offering plate during the service or take it to Guest Services in the lobby when you pick up your gift. Who is God? What do we believe about God? Baptists believe there is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. The eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence or being. Baptists believe God always has been; He always will be. What are truths about God that will never change? I. You can know that His ______________ will never change. “I have loved you with an everlasting love.” Jer. 31:3 “... nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God.” Romans 8:38 II. You can know that His ______________ will never change. “The grass withers and flowers fade, but the Word of our God shall stand forever.” Isaiah 40:8 * There is the temptation. “Did God really say...” Gen. 3:1 “Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” Matthew 7:24 III. You can know that His ______________ will never change. “The Lord Almighty has sworn, Surely as I have planned it, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.” Isaiah 14:24 “His plans endure forever; His purposes last eternally.” Psalm 33:11 Because God is God, to Him we owe the highest ______________________.
