The Center will provide St Joe’s with an additional 19,000 square feet of educational space, encompassing an art center, additional classrooms, a 250-seat lecture hall for academic and community events, and a new media/library center. Work will run through the next 18 months. His Excellency, William E. Lori, Bishop of the Diocese of Bridgeport, was on hand to bless the ground and lead the shovel parade. He spoke about the role St Joseph has played in providing quality Catholic college preparatory education in Fairfield County and congratulated the school on its mission and vision.
