The Hickok Times THIS MONTH… BY: LORREN, NATASHA, KARA, CRAIG, JAMIE, PONCH, & KADEEM October has to be one of the most festive months of the year here at Hickok. We dedicated an entire group to making Hickok look extra spooky. We have so many fun activities planned this month ranging from pumpkin decorating to our annual Hickok Halloween party and of course our fabulous outings! Natasha has been getting her blood curdling tails ready! We want to take a brief moment to say thank you to one of our members Dan S. for welcoming the Hickok crew to his families historic… Stokoe Farms! Although we may be sad to see the warm weather leave, we are welcoming some of our indoor outings that we missed. Many of us are excited to be returning to Dave and Busters, Schutts Apple Mill, and As we mentioned, with the welcoming of Fall also comes lots of germs with the weather changing and we would like to continue to encourage hand washing, sanitizer, flu shots, and adding an extra layer of clothing if needed. After a long time waiting for our Hickok store to take place, we are finally happy to share our beloved vending machines which we are all so excited about! Also reviving back up at the Hickok Center is wood working with our new volunteer Eric called “Hickok Tool Time”! Eric has been working extremely hard making improvements around the Hickok Center to make our center look its absolute best and we couldn't be more thankful for him… Thank you, Eric!
