You can print out the “my family” aached below photo frame to do as an acvity (Draw and color) Prepare finger puppets for the Finger Family song Example: Cut out the pictures and sck the ends together in circle so that you can insert them onto your fingers.

Warm – Up Engage the students and set the tone for the lesson.
Song: Family Finger Song
Go over the family members that you feel weren't gone over in the color song.
2-3 mins T-S
Introduction Get the students familiar with the subject
Introduce each flashcard to the students and have them repeat it each one 5 times.
If you have access to television you also play this video about family.

Guided Practice Create the link between the images and the word. Practice pronunciation.
Place the each flash card on the board and point the cards as you pronounce the words and the students repeat after you.
Select 5 students at random and givethem each a finger puppet. When you call out a name “daddy finger where are you” the student that has that finger puppet will say “here I am” and wave that finger in the air”
If you have time, you can give the students each a “My Family” photo frame and they can draw their own family members on it.

Assessment Assess their understanding
Walk up to individual students have them the repeat the image on the flash card to assess how many of thestudents retained the words. Repeatthe words if necessary.

Conclusion Revise the vocabulary Song: Sing the “Baby Shark” song 2- 3 mins T-S
