This facility is only for those students who have confirmed seat allotmentINSTRUCTIONS

1. The candidate is required to have an email ID and Mobile No for registration.

2. Please click on this link http://onlineadmission.git.edu to access the registration portal.

3. In the web page, click on New Users - click here to Register for registration.

4. Provide the necessary details like Candidate Name, Email Id, Mobile Number and Date

of Birth for registration.

5. After successful registration, the candidate will receive an activation email to the

provided email id.

6. The candidate is required to click on the activation link to complete the registration. Once

the registration is completed, the candidate will receive the username and password to the

registered email id.

7. Alternatively the candidate can register the mobile number to which an OTP (One Time

Password) will be sent. On entering the OTP in the required field, the candidate will

receive the username and password in the registered mobile number.

8. Please click on this link http://onlineadmission.git.edu and use the username and

password provided to you to continue with the admission process.

9. In case of power failure or accidental logout of the session, your session will start fromthe last page where you had entered the data.

10. The Fields marked with an asterisk * needs to be filled compulsorily. Also ensure that thePop-up blocker should be disabled in your browser to enable online payment andchallan generation.

11. In the Student Core Details Page, select the Branch, Admission Quota, Admission Type,Semester, Category etc. and in Entrance Exam Details, enter the details of EntranceExamination.

12. In the Student Contact Details Page, Student Address, Email Id, Mobile No., EmergencyContact etc…

13. In the Student Miscellaneous Details, Enter the Students Gender, Blood Group, BirthPlace, Caste etc., as per the documentary proof.

14. In the Medical Information Page, Enter your Family Doctor Name, Contact Details etc.

15. In Student Academic Details Page, Enter candidate’s SSLC/10th and PUC/XII orDiploma Details like School/College Name and Address, Board Name, Marks Obtainedetc.

16. In Parents Details Page, Enter the details of Father, Mother and/or Guardian like Name,Address, Occupation, Annual Income, Mobile No. etc…

17. In Sibling Details Page, Enter the details of Siblings like Name, College Name andContact Details.

17a. In Reference Details, Enter the details of a Reference Person from your Relation/FamilyFriend, who is holding a prominent position in Academic Institution/Industry/Governmentetc.

18. Upload the following compulsory documents in JPEG format with minimum 300 DPIresolution. If these documents are not uploaded during online admission process, then theadmission process will not be completed. All these original documents need to be broughtto GIT for the verification and completion of admission.(a) SSLC Marks Card(b) PUC Marks Card (If not Original, the Provisional Marks card)(c) CET/COMED-K Admission Letter(d) Student Photograph(e) Student Signature(f) Student Thumb Impression(g) Parents Signature

19. Upload the following documents in JPEG format with minimum 300 DPI resolution. Ifnot available during online filling, then these documents may be submitted later duringthe admission. All the necessary original documents need to be brought to GIT for theverification and completion of admission.(a) Study Certificate for 7 Years(5 Years from High School & 2 Years from College)(b) Character Certificate from last attended college(c) Latest Annual Income Certificate (In case of Category)(d) Latest Caste Certificate (In case of Category)(e) Migration Certificate (In case of Non-Karnataka Students)(f) Transfer Certificate

20. After completion of documents upload, Submit the Application form.21. Then it will take you to the Edit Instance, where the candidate can edit and verify the data

before final submission. After final submission the data cannot be changed.

22. After the submission, Click on Copy Application Id and go to payment option for eitherMake Payment (Refer Steps 23 to 24 and 26 to 27) or Offline Payment (Refer Steps25 to 27).

23. For Online Payment, click on Make Payment button and you will be redirected to SBIsite, where in you have to paste (Command Ctrl+v) the Application Id, enter some basicdetails and proceed to payment using Online Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card.

24. Once Online Payment is done, take the printout of Payment Receipt. Click on the UpdatePayment Details icon in Online Admission Page, copy the Transaction Id and paste it inUpdate Payment Details with Amount Paid. Click on OK button to complete theadmission process.

25. For Offline Payment, Click on Offline Challan and the system will generate a ChallanCopy (2 Pages). Take the printout of the Challans and come to college to get a seal on theChallan and pay the amount of Rs. 5,000/- in the Karnataka Bank situated in the GITCampus. This completes the Online Admission Process.

26. Then Click on Print Admission Acknowledgement to take printout of ProvisionalAdmission Acknowledgement.

27. Bring the Payment Receipt/ Challan (Office copy), Admission Acknowledgement,4 Passport size Photographs along with the uploaded Original documents in addition to4 Sets of Zerox Copies of all Original Documents duly attested by any Gazetted Officerto GIT for Verification, Payment of Remaining Fees and to complete the AdmissionProcess.
