This Business Administration framework meets the needs of candidates who are employed in roles such as Office
Managers, Administrative Team Leaders and Business Development Managers. The candidate will develop an
understanding of management responsibilities and gain competencies in fulfilling these through a range of
activities such as resource management, negotiating, budget management and promoting innovation and
change. The framework consists of three components:
This qualification meets the needs of candidates who are employed in a role with administrative management responsibilities, it provides
the candidate with the opportunity to gain the skills to develop and implement administrative services that can be applied to a wide range of
businesses and organisations. To achieve the Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Business Administration candidates must complete all units from the
mandatory group and a minimum of 39 credits from the optional groups as follows: a minimum of 26 credits from group A and a maximum
of 13 credits from group B.
This certificate meets the needs of candidates who work or want to work as senior administrators or managers. This qualification is designed
to provide candidates with the knowledge and understanding relevant to their chosen career paths and aspirations within a business and
professional administration context. It provides a progression route for candidates qualified to Level 3 who may have completed relevant
qualifications such as the Level 3 Certificate or Diploma in Business and Administration.
Essential skills are an important part of your qualification and aim to develop your literacy, numeracy and digital awareness. These skills are
highly valued by employers.
