V. Lab Report
2. Explanation of the results of experiments and discussion of the different types of behaviour
Connection of the motor to AC series produces accuracy more than in DC. AC series motor Voltage
and Current are risen up obviously. Having this experience could say that AC series motor is more
desirable than DC type due to higher power production at the output.
The load test shows that a field current and an armature current can obtain increasing speed. It can
be seen that torque remains stable which could be due to the load present.
