Yes you are correct this is the diver version with the functional rotating bezel, no more
screws. Truthfully I to like the older version, for me I never use the rotating bezel anyway.
Thats my thought also

I too like the older version too. Like the two tone look and scews in he bezel. But I still havent added one to my collection yet. The silver/rose is still on my list though. Funny how
the one on rubber is priced more than the bracelet.

IMO, what made the SAS special was the multi-piece case within a case design.
This design was enhanced by the screws in the bezel that aligned with the screws in the case back, almost as if these screws went through the entire watch. Moreover, if the watch was
two-tone, that case design really popped out at you.
These new SAS's may as well be any ProDiver. The case design is secondary to the bezel and with a single tone case, not even that easy to see as being different.

I too like the original design better. The case and bezel is what makes the original SAS so
special. And of course the bracelet rocks too. I do like the new design, just not as much as the original execution. I'm sure I'll add the new one to my collection at some point.

I know I am in the minority, but I actually like it better than the original. Really don't think it is that big of a deal as they will surely make other variations that are not divers. I wonder if
I like the original better. But Nismos solid Stainless looks pretty good.

I thought the original was almost he perfect design for me.I dont really like the new version at all.IMO they didnt improve on the watch at all.Its harder to read the hands with the white
subdial ring.I wish they would have changed the skeleton hands to make it a real
diver.Maybe its a hybird and we will see other versions in the future.

Yep, I noticed - and I like the 'old' style better too!! Sometimes you just shouldn't 'mess'
with a good thing!
Hope your surgery went well..

The regular SAS is my all time favorite Invicta. I liked the 251.271 movement. The only
version of the SAS Diver I actually like is the all Silvertone, but the dial is a bit too busy.
I don't know, is it just me! I love the original version of the SAS, I just don't care much for
the diver version. It does'nt have that unique look to it, looks like a diver?
I guess I'll just keep to buying th original version then.

This new version isn't replacing the original... it's just a new (alternate) execution. The
original is great, I love mine... but I for one, am glad Invicta is expanding the collection. I
don't really compare the two against each other. They are two different animals. I look forward to seeing these air. And look forward to having it on my wrist. Besides... not too
many 52mm, S/S, case & cradle, bracelet divers to choose from... I love it. Clearly I'm in the
