Once upon a time, There was a good woman. This woman was eighty- five
years old. She lived in a little house where she had a beautiful garden with striped tulips.
@alvarot
One night she heard sounds of sweet singing and of babies laughing. When
she looked out at the window She was hearing some sounds which came from the tulips, but she couldn´t see anything.
@alvarot
The next morning she walked through the garden, but there
weren´t signs that anyone was walking near her house.
@alvarot
On the following night she was listening one time more the sweet singing
and babies laughing. She woke up calmly and went running to her garden. The moon was shining brightly on the tulips, and the flowers were moving.
@alvarot
The next night she woke up by the same sounds of the last night. She looked
out at the window. The sounds seemed to came from the tulips, but she couldn´t see anything.
@alvarot
The good old woman came back quietly to
her house, and she never picked a tulip again, and she didn´t left to her neighbors touch the flowers.
@alvarot
The tulips grew daily brighter in color and larger, and they gave out a
delicious perfume like the roses and the tulips grow all the year. And every night the little Fairy mothers caressed their babies and they gone to sleep.

One day the good old woman died, and the tulips was torn up by the
neighboors did not know about the fairies, and other flowers was planted. But they didn’t grow up.
@alvarot
But the good old woman's grave grew beautiful because the Fairies sang
above it, and kept it always green. At the same way, on the grave and all around it there sprang up tulips, daffodils, and violets, and other lovely
flowers of spring.
