EXHAUST EMISSIONS SCRUBBING SYSTEMSWe are installing Exhaust Gas Purification Systems (EGPS) on a number of vessels for a prominent cruise company using PE100 material (sizes d25 – d600), techniques include butt fusion and electrofusion.
Harris Pye Engineering has the proven ability to install complex piping systems on vessels in service, (and indocking), thus maintaining the customers revenue stream. We use the latest technology and techniques in buttfusion and electrofusion welding for PE100 piping systems with diameters up to DN600 .

Piping System Design
As part of the installation survey, Harris Pye offers high definition 3D laser scanning to gather large amounts of fielddata with accuracies of +/- 1mm. The scans are individually referenced to a coordinate system using an ultra-highprecision industrial survey method and a 3D calculating proprietary software known as Point Cloud.
Upon completion of the survey the 'sphere' of data will be integrated with AutoCAD for a full 3D representation ofexisting structure & components enabling modification and renewal within the proposed areas, ensuring a clashfree design in our own Design office

REPLACE SALT WATER SANITARY LINES• Replacement of all salt water pipework from low level to level 4 in living quarter (LQ) areas including
risers from machinery spaces• The installation included new pipework using Instaflex fusion welded plastic pipe and fittings
throughout. To allow uninterrupted service of systems new pipe work is run alongside the existingpiping, until final commissioning of wet units at each deck level, with old piping decommissioned oncompletion then removed and scrapped out
• Isolation valves included and installed at every “dropper” to wet units sinks etc for local isolations• Isolation Valves on both Port and Starboard at each level to enable isolation of the system• A60 bulkhead penetrations using Roxtec PPS/S• Temporary hoses employed during the installation as we understand the need for 24 /7 usage

Scope of Work• Harris Pye Engineering (HPE) replaced hot and cold potable water risers in the GF instaflex pipe. New valves are
fitted at the end of each line for isolation purposes. For all required bulk head or deck head penetrations, roxtecsleev-it penetration and RSPP/S back to back seals were fitted.
• HPE replaced the existing manifold with GF plastic constructed manifold, and all lines of the manifold for all risers.New GF valves replaced all butterfly valves. The construction of manifolds were completed by HP Fabrication in theUnited Kingdom and fitted in sections on-board.
• A number of 4” hoses were run through the bulkhead into the laundry; using the laundry chute to feed all deckswith hot and cold potable water. Jumper hoses and pressure reduction valves were supplied by the client. HPEworked in tandem with ship supplied designated personnell for the duration of the refit.
AURORAHot and Cold Water Riser & Manifold Replacement

Scope of WorkHarris Pye installed new GF pipework for the hot, cold & sanitary watersystem on-board the Adonia during a recent refit. The water systems werekept operational with the use of jumper hoses that connected pre-installedtees and valves on Port & Starboard sides of DK 4, DK 6 and DK 7. The hotand cold potable water system were replaced within in the strict deadlinepresented for the refit.

Scope of WorkHarris Pye worked on-board tied-into the newly replaced riser systems.The skilled riding crew installed the standard tie-ins and any special tie-insrequired. 3D modelling of piping is prepared and isometrics drawings ofthe installed pipework have been produced for the client.
AZURAHOT RISER ENGINE ROOM PENETRATIONS
Scope of work Harris Pye’s riding crew completed the renewal of hot and cold risers overa duration of 60 days sail using GF’s Instaflex piping system.
