They are cheap, interchangeable, have standard connectors and can measure a wide range of temperatures. The main limitatio n is accuracy, system errors of less than 1 °C can be difficult to achiev e. Ajay Syscon has developed and designe d thermocouple tips to detect and measure temperature using thermocouples of various types like B, K, R and S t y pe. We manufacture expendable immersion t ype thermocouple tips with spiral cardboard paper tube which are fitted o n to lance pipe and used to take the temperature of molten metal in foundr y and steel plants. When immersed in the molten metal for 4 to 6 seconds the process of millivolt transfer to the microprocessor starts and the temp erature is displayed on the display unit. Overview of our range of thermocouple tips are as follows: MINI üTHERMOCOUPLE TIP MINI 10% (TYPE S) / 13% (TYPE R) / 6/30% (TYPE B) WITH PAPER TUBE LENGTH OF 300 T O 1500MM AS REQUIRED ACCORDING TO FURNACE CAPACITY. üMinitip is used especially for foundry plants üConnector type is male üSupporter type is Plastic üAccuracy: 1deg Celsius üUsage: Single time usedüID/OD: 18MM/32MM MARK VIIüTHERMOCOUPLE TIP MARK VII 10% (TYPE S) / 13% (TYPE R) / 6/30% (TYPE B) WITH PAPER TUBE LENGTH OF 300 TO 1500MM AS REQUIRED ACCORDING TO FURNACE CAPACITY. üMark VII is used especially for Steel plants üConnector type is Male Female üSupporter type is plastic / ceramic as required üAccuracy: 1deg Celsius üUsage: Single time used üID/OD: 18MM/32MM üMetal Cap: M.S / AL / CU

These are sampling cups with accurate thermocoupleassembly and Tellurium blob to get more reliable Thermal
Analysis results of CE, C, Si. These are especially made for
High Carbon equivalent of Cast Iron / S. G. Iron, giving
consistent and accurate C & Si readings.
Salient features include:
- Economical
- High Reliability
- Accurate Results
- No Chance of Loose Contacts
Technical specifications:
· Type B (Platinum / Rhodium)Type B is suited for high temperature measurements up to 1800°C. Unusually type B thermocouples (due
to the shape of their temperature / voltage curve) give the same output at 0°C and 42°C. This makes them
useless below 50°C.
· Type K (Chromel / Alumel)
Type K is the 'general purpose' thermocouple. It is low cost and, owing to its popularity, it is available ina wide variety of probes. Thermocouples are available in the -200°C to +1300°C range. Sensitivity is
approx 41uV/°C. Use type K unless you have a good reason not to.
· Type R (Platinum / Rhodium)Type R is suited for high temperature measurements up to 1720°C. Low sensitivity (10uV/°C) and highcost makes them unsuitable for general purpose use.
· Type S (Platinum / Rhodium)Type S is suited for high temperature measurements up to 1720°C. Low sensitivity (10uV/vC) and high
cost makes them unsuitable for general purpose use. Due to its high stability type S is used as the
standard of calibration for the melting point of gold (1064.43°C).
