The wretch and the rape of innocence

The epitome of disease, corruption and filth surround this dreary city street in the heart of the ghetto where drugs, prostitution and rape are a normal occurrence. On this damp, chilly night, in a dark and unforgiving ghetto, Keith Macer, a man with no redeemable qualities, is paying for his weekly rendezvous with his “girlfriend”, Sinnamon. Although nearly broke , he smiles with great anticipation to spend a romantic evening with his lady love. The whore offers him an oasis in his suffering. Her unfeeling warmth and casual affair gives him great respite in an otherwise meaningless existence....In a city that hope has forgotten.
