The World Of Shakespeare
Erected in 1598 by Shakespeares theater company.It was an open-air theater and three stories high.Had a capacity of 3,000 audience members.In 1613, the original Globe Theatre burned to the ground.A cannon shot during a performance of Henry VIII set the building on fire.
