Note :- The automatic sensor module needs to be activated by the

driver after starting the vehicle, as auto-start of the system

sometimes turns it on in an inappropriate situation.

In standard wipers, adjusting the wiper blades in heavy rain or snow can distract the driver but the automatic wipers take care of all these issues and driver will be free from distraction..

How often should you change the

wipers?

As per owner’s manual, one should change the wiper

blades in every 12-18months for a better and safe

drive..

But also if you hear a sticking noise

coming form it or any visible cracks are

there, then go for changing it

immediately..

Factors affecting the deterioration of windshield are :-

Regular sun exposure Fluctuating temperature continuous usage etc..

How will you know that the wipers aren’t working ?

Torn Wiper Blades :

The condition of wiper blades directly relates to their performance that they deliver..

If the rubber edges are torn, it will not clean the debris or dirt properly as it can’t make a proper contact with windshield ..

Bent windshield wiper :

Make sure to use snow brush If your vehicle is covered with heavy snow

If you use the wipers directly, it will get bent or wiper arms can

strip at the pivot ---- this also results in damaging the wiper motor

or transmission.

Tips :- Always remove the snow. And use wiper

blades on the left over small particles..

The proper functioning of wipers always depend on the electric motor.

If the electric motor is not working due to some sort of malfunctioning or short out, then the wipers will not move.

Make sure to replace the windshield wiper motor immediately.

If the wiper motor is overloaded, that affects the fuse and it gets burnt out..

There are different reasons that overload the motor..

Heavy snow on wiper blades

blades caught on something

blades snagged together etc.
