Three Things to Think About

1. Think about inviting a friend to attend church with you this Sunday. Don’t just invite them, offer to pick them up or tell them to meet you in the parking lot so that they can have a friend to sit with. Many people sitting at home on Sunday mornings would come if they were invited. This Sunday is an especially good Sunday to invite them. We will have our incredible Lessons and Carols service in our traditional services and the Well will be finishing up our Named sermon series. Don’t miss this opportunity to invite a friend. 2. Think about making an extra year-end gift. We want to end the year in a strong way financially, so we will need your help to do this. I want to thank the many of you who have worked hard to fulfill your annual commitment to the church, and for those who have given generously above and beyond. The everyday mission and ministry of the church depends on your gifts to the general fund of the church so that we can continue the many programs and ministries you love and believe in. Together we can make 2015 one of our best years ever!3. Think about asking a friend, family member, or neighbor to attend church with you on Christmas Eve. If you’ve never attended our 7:00 PM or 11:00 PM Candlelight Communion services you have missed an incredible experience. There is nothing quite like singing Silent Night together with your church family out on the front lawn of our sanctuary. Many people will be looking for a place to celebrate on Christmas Eve. This is a great way to connect them with our church in a very positive way.

Above all think about Christ this Christmas. The most incredible gift God ever gave was himself through his son Jesus Christ. God was wrapped in human flesh, swaddling clothes, and placed in a manger. Emmanuel, God with us, demonstrates the great lengths God has gone to love us. Respond to God’s love. Think about it!

Peace,

Rob
