The Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam measures cognitive ability to help predict academic success. The exam is used to predict how quickly and thoroughly you can understand instructions, learn new material and handle the mental demands of school. The exam offered through the Veterinary Technology Program at NDSU consists of 50 questions administered in a proctored online setting over a 12 minute time period. 2. Why does the NDSU Vet Tech Program require the exam? The Veterinary Technology program at NDSU is one of only twenty-two Veterinary Technology Programs in the country to offer a Bachelor of Science Degree. As part of our admissions process, the Wonderlic exam helps us better understand the cognitive ability of our students and assist them with meeting their educational goals. The exam is also useful in guiding our students to additional educational resources on campus to ensure they receive the most from their time spent learning at NDSU. 3. Where / When i the exam offered? The exam is offered annually during Spring semester in computer clusters on the NDSU campus. How many times can I sit for the exam? Each student can take the exam once or use a transferred score if they have sat for the exam before.
